Apple - Laptop Repair Review from Kingman, Arizona

4.7
Details
January 2016 I purchased a 13' 2015 MacBook Pro retina to replace my dying Sony Vaio. I had one software glitch 2 months in that tech was able to walk me through. Two months ago my toddler sprayed windex directly into the vents, screen hinge and onto the keyboard. My MacBook was soaked and the screen had severe liquid damage. Everyone told me that voided my warranty so I started shopping around for third party repairs thinking it would be cheaper. In the end, I sent it back to Apple. I figured I had just paid 2k for it and I wasn't comfortable with business I'm not familiar with working on or having it. Every third party company told me I was looking at about $800 as my logic board was surely fried. Apple ended up charging me $475 and replaced numerous things, including the entire screen assembly. The logic board was just fine. Bonus, although the liquid damage repair wasn't covered by warranty the warranty itself is still intact because Apple did the repair. So glad I listened to my gut. I saved money, time, and avoided a lot of anxiety. Apple conducted business with respect and integrity. Happy with Apple.

I had smashed my iphone 6 in Mumbai. I took the number of an authorized service centre from a dial up service. One guy from the service centre came picked up my phone and returns it after three days stating i will require to buy a new piece as it is out of warranty....

Have you contacted AppleCare directly at 800-275-2273? Have you contacted Apple Customer Relations?

When you supposedly brought your phone to this Apple Authorized Service Provider the first time, did you retain your authorized repair work order? If not there is not much you can do as Apple see's it that you took it to an UNauthorized Service Dealer who may have used 3rd party parts on the phone.

Apple does not charge this high amount for technical support. Apple support for Out of Warranty Technical Support is usually $19 + tax if you are in the United States.

It appears you called a 3rd party company for help, was billed by said 3rd party company.

In this event, there is nothing Apple would be able to provide to you in the form of a refund as they did not take your billing information. You should contact your credit card company and have them reverse the charge if you do not know who you paid.

Apple in Mississauga, Ontario - Genius Bar is not *** bar

Details
I had a bad customer experience on Genius Bar wherein I was rushed off by the Apple tech support rep and I was so let down by their customer service and this company needs to pay attention to the customers and when asked for another rep in the same store for a technical issue , I was advised to buy a new phone worth $350 and my phone was within warranty and such is low level of service in apple stores I will speak to apple customer service over the phone and let them know that they need to put their house in order to keep the customers loyal as we have choice in the market now.

Overall pleased with the previous operation of my MacBook Pro, but the first time I have an issue, I get zero support from Apple's "customer service" team. Apple just lost a very loyal customer today. #cutandrunat1stproblem

As a fanatic apple user, desktop five mac book airs, two apple watches, six iphones, two ipads in our house i am done with mac and tell everyone i can to stay clear. I talked a client out of buying one this week. We have had three of the six computers fail within two years. The third one just outside of the warranty period and apples response has been to email support after i sent a two page letter complaining about the length of time a $1600 computer is lasting. I couldnt care less now what im buying as long as i dont give them one more cent. Apple is *** and it died with Steve Jobs. Donesky.

Apple in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida - Numbers will never replace Excel- stop lying

Returning to the US in February with a damp MAC I had to go immediately to the Apple Store. $900 later they were able to restore all my applications and files with the 'exception' of my Microsoft Office Suite. "NO WORRIES- NUMBERS CAN DO EVERYTHING EXCEL CAN DO", lied the 'Genius' at the Apple store. If Apple had any decency they would have immediately signed me up for a NUMBERS class to explain the peculiarities and limitations of their knock-off spreadsheet software. Then when they couldn't recreate the functions I am using in my Excel created spreadsheets, they would pay to replace my Microsoft Office Suite. NUMBERS may be sufficient for your average elementary school student, who learned the Apple jargon from kindergarten. Assuming you've been using Excel for the last decade or more, I don't have time/energy to learn another spreadsheet that appears to do less than VisiCalc.

6 Macs, 10 IPhones, 3 IPads, 4 IPods and now done with Apple products. There have been signs that Apple has grown to not care about their patrons... charging for support, very expensive extended warranties that cover very little, changing designs to cause obsolete...

Plus. Ow they link everything through iCloud and if yo by chance have a phone where someone passed away.

You cannot sell or use the phone because you do not know ther password or

User name! Even after you prove everything! That the phone is now yours!!! Arrogance.

I guess that they think since you cannot use that you,lol buy another one. Not me I am done with apple.

Apple Music Converter for Mac is great to help me Convert purchased iTunes music to MP3

Apple Music Converter for Mac is great to help me Convert purchased iTunes music to MP3
Apple Music Converter for Mac is great to help me Convert purchased iTunes music to MP3
Haven't used iTunes in a year or so. I used to be able to convert files bought from iTunes store to MP3 format so I could load them onto my MP3 player. That option is no longer available on the current version of iTunes. Researched the Help files, but after digesting them found a note at the bottom that said the solutuions provided won't work with music purchased from iTunes Store!!! I just want to convert the dozen or so files I bought last night into MP3 format so I can load them onto my MP3 player. HELP! iTunes Music Store is a software-based online music service operated by Apple Inc. Songs purchased at the iTunes Store come in the AAC format, which is a slightly newer format designed to provide better quality sound from files that are an equal size to, or smaller than, MP3s. But the purchased iTuens music has a restriction that they can be played on Apple devices only. So if you want to play the purchased iTunes music on other devices, first of all, you should remove DRM protection from iTuens music. DRM(Digital Rights Management) is an advanced access control technology with the purpose of limitting the use of digital content and devices after sale. But the Apple Music Converter could help you convert purchased iTunes music to MP3 freely. Then you can enjoy your purchased iTunes music on any device you would like to. Apple music Converter can easily convert purchased iTunes music files to regular audio formats like MP3, AAC, AC3, AU, M4A, M4R, MKA, AIFF, and FLAC. After the iTunes AAC to MP3 convertion, you can listen to your purchased iTunes musics on any device such as iPad, iPhone, Android, PSP, HTC, BlackBerry, tablets, smartphones, Walkman, and car MP3 CD players, etc.
