Intentionally makes it difficult to cancel subscription services

It seems like you have to jump thru 50 hoops to unsubscribe from appletv. Now they want me to download itunes to cancel it. I didnt need itunes to use it. Wth?

Apple ID control issues you should know about

So this issue that I am sharing with you all started because I noticed some unrelated charges on my bank statement and I started to research the source and the dates that they were occurring. When I realized they were charges related to apple I reached out to them first by getting online and waited with no reply then I sent an email still with no reply. I continued to monitor my bank account to see if the charges were still occurring and because they were, I decided to put an immediate stop to it by calling my bank to find out what my options would be. I then filed a claim with my bank going back a few years after I reviewed my bank statements. Little did I know that this would prompt Apple to shut down my Apple ID, disabling all access to downloading any Apps or other programs associated with Apple. After I contacted Apple inquiring about my App Store notification stating that my account has been disabled I was told that I should always notify Apple first with any claim and of course I stated that I had reached out to Apple with no reply, so I took the next step of notifying my bank. There was no response to this statement only a reverberation telling me that my account can be disabled permanently if I continue to make more claims and if I dont go to Apple directly because it makes it look like Apple is charging me erroneously, which they were of course. So my response was What Options Do I Have? Of course I meant if I dont use Apple then there must be another company that I can reach out to for similar services without Apple tying my hands or reprimanding me for making a claim. So basically Apple thinks you make them look bad if you make a claim with your bank even though they dont respond in a timely manner and its your money that is being taken from your bank account. That is no concern if theirs. Their concern is that you are making them look bad and they will retaliate by shutting down your Apple ID essentially disabling all access to Apps and programs on your iPhone so that they hold you hostage and dependent on them. A company that monopolizes control over someone is not a company I want to associate with. I like options as I believe everyone should be entitled to options in this American Democratic world we live in so just know before you sign up. I am investigating my options now because the best thing I can do for myself is not use them anymore since they only value me based on the money they can take from me not as a continued user and supporter of their phone and services.

Repair? What Repair?

My Apple phone needed a new battery. Called Apple. Scheduled an appointment to get it done at Best Buy's Geek Squad. That was 1 of 3 choices. It was the closest repair center. No idea how long it will take. Apple can't tell me. I get to Best Buy to find out it will take about 1 hr. and 40 minutes. Silly me. I thought it would be a simple take one out and put one in situation. It was not. I was not prepared to leave my phone. Tech got rude about it. I left. Found out a week later he didn't even have the part because he called to tell me it was in. I Came home and called Apple again. Decided to opt for sending it to directly to Apple for repair. They sent a box and away it went. I got it back a few days later in worse shape than it was. No new battery. Now I have a battery that won't charge at all. So much for repairing my phone. I called Apple a third time. This time I had no choice but to go to the Apple Store. I and the Apple customer service folks tried to get through to the store to make sure they had the part. After 2 days of trying we gave up. I left my name and number for a call back and made the appointment anyway. Luckily my experience at the Apple store was a good one. Third times the charm. Bottom line... Do better Apple. I wasted a ton of time and I was charged a fee to send my phone back and forth. A little communication and an estimated time needed would have saved me and your customer service folks a bunch of time and aggravation. In this age of electronics poor communication within a company is just ridiculous. Of all companies I really expected better from you.

Spent over 13 grand trying to get photos back

I have dealt with your 'geniuses' who told me to pay thousands of dollars for my data back, but I have not seen one photo from my iPhone or MacBook retrieved yet. I've been working on this with your idiots for the last 3 months and have just spent more and more money with nothing to show for it. Disgusted, can’t have my city in the Weather Chanel!

Apple said they could not change it back to Roslindale from Cupertino. It was Roslindale before an apple reset! I dont want New York or Boston as the weather and temperatures are different. Whats the point of having the Weather Channel if you cant have YOUR weather!?!?

Unadvertised Loss of functionality by APPLE

Be wary when upgrading to Big Sur. 1) Notifications no longer let you set a snooze time. FEATURES should not disappear without NOTICE. 2) I tried to backup my iphone to my mac and now have 2x the contacts and photos.

Apple might be a super spreader in their retail stores - Warning

I went to a store for an Express Pickup in Roseville CA for a new MacBook Pro. I was given a 15 minute window. I was made to wait outside the store in the hallway of the shopping center. Everything was chaotic. The wait was much more that the window they gave Online. People were milling around in the hallway, not everyone was wearing a mask. Confusion, chaos, unorganized in the height of the Coronavirus. Yet they carry on making tons of profit. There was no curbside pickup like many other retailers. Is profit more important than exposing people to Coronavirus.

FedEx not hopeful and missing package

I live in a row home where there are a total of about 8 homes. My email says my package was delivered, but I never received my package. I am so p..... Off Right now. The worst thing about it is that my email says delivered at 3:42 pm today February 4, 2021, but when I found out it was about 4:15pm. So, called my local FedEx and the guy I spoke to says the address on file is not mines. And worst yet, he can't tell me whose address it was delivered too. Or who signed the package as if they were me. Now l am concerned that the same thing will happen again. Apple card declined

On January 18th, I was approved for an Apple card by Goldman Sachs with a $4000.00 credit line on the Apple email account of bobby1376@***.com. Unfortunately due to security problems with that email address, I had to cancel that email address. Therefore my Apple card was rendered invalid since that was the email address of my Apple card account. I told Goldman Sachs to close that account and asked them to re-issue the Apple card with my new Apple account of marengo.bob1@***d .com. I still haven't heard from Goldman Sachs.

Dont buy gift cards from apple and from the third party reseller aswell

I bought a $100 gift card from target and it was gift for my husband coz he like playing online games in his brand new ipad pro that i bought him aswell. When he try to use it, it said that it was redeemed already and found out it was redeem on the day I purchase it and the same time it was scanned coz I asked the apple customer support about it, and she said it was used on the day I bought it. I told her that rediculous how can i use that the same time i bought it? Apple refuse to refund me so I went back to target and also they refuse to refund me. I was getting frustrated and angry so I called apple again and explained that target is refusing to refund me because its apples systems problem so they should resolve this. But still they refuse and said that its been used already and there is nothing they can do about. Im still not giving up demanding for a refund and they act is like its not their problem that I got scam. Im so angry and still they are very firm of not helping me with the problem they even transfered me to the supervisor and he is very determined not to refund me. Just finish my story and lesson learned aswell not to buy and trust them anymore. They are a multi billion company and they dont do anything to prevent this from happening. I provided them with evidence that we didnt use the giftcard and it was use in a different state. They also see that were trying to redeem it but unfortunately it was redeem already but someone else. Right there its already a red flag and enought for them to believe me. $100 is not easy to get i work hard for that money im not rich im just an average jane with just a part time job coz during this pandemic its so hard to get a steady job.

It’s not their fault you got scam. These scales happen all the time and the company can’t refund your cash because they did anyone can say the gift card doesn’t work and it wasn’t redeemed by self.
