Apple misleads its customers
I bought the Apple Care for my Apple iPhone in the United States where it says that the warranty is worldwide and Apple Brazil refuses to give me call. I want my money back plus taxes. Apple misleads its customers. Then I asked with Apple Support in USA and they told me that I have to contact Apple Brasil. But, Apple Brasil refuses to give me back my money. So, I suggest you never buy an Apple Care because the global warranty of Apple doesent work. I just want my money back, I paid for that and I just want may money back.

Warranty denied and also faulty mechanism not being replaced
i bought a new iphone5 from a premium reseller imagine from kolkata, india after getting the reference from apple's website. but the reseller sold me a used phone in a sealed condition which i wasn't aware of. when i went to get my phone repaired under warranty after 10 months i was denied the warranty from apple despite showing them the proof of purchase. now when i complain the apple customer care the are not responding and listening to me and neither is the reseller. the reseller says me to contact apple and apple customer care ask me to go to the reseller. also apple has disclosed that some of the iphone 5 has been fitted with faulty power button mechanism and my phone qualifies for that programme. i am having the same problem and when i am requesting them o repair the phone they are not responding. there is no department where i can go and complain about the sales and support team of apple. seems as if i have been duped and robbed by 750$ which is almost my months salary.

My iPhone is really slow. It says I'm using huge amounts of storage even if I delete everything, and the company will only help with problems if you pay them to
My iPhone just plain runs slow. I can't install updates or fixes because it says I've reached my storage limit, even though that is not the case. An online search revreals others have this kooy storage problem, and for years but when you call them they act like you are the only one and this is the first they've heard of it. They also want you to pay them for any customer service time. The Iine help center is a maze that will eat up your whe day and lead nowhere. Forum people, who basically work free for iPhone, don't do much more than waste your time. This phone is ridicously slow to use and problem date comrx and insurmountable. You just have to try to tolerate it till the *** thing is paid off

Replaced brand new ipad mini witha refurbished one
I recently bought a brand "new" I pad mini, in the unsealed box. In exactly 2 months the unit would not turn on or anything. It was frozen in the off position. I contacted Apple service. They had me try several things with no results. They had me return it to an apple repair facility and was told I would receive another unit in 24 hrs. I received the unit only to find I received a "refurbished unit" from Apple. I contacted Apple service to be told that is what you get. I explained it was brand new. Sorry that is our policy. I said what was the purpose of purchasing brand new when I could have purchased refurbished for less money. They just said that a refurbished is just as good. Some answer. Buyers beware of Apple's stupidity. Not only do you pay top dollar for their product, they give a refurbished back to you in less than 90 days old. If it was over the 90 day period, it would be understandable. Costco and most reliable retailers would just give you a brand new unit, not a refurbished one. I guess that is how they make so much money, so they cheap out, so that why they are the most profitable company in the world. Wonder if Steve Jobs would approve of this? New ownership sucks.

Poor hardware quality and customer care
I am having an issue with my macbook pro purchased in Feb. 2013 and running the latest version of Mavericks (10.9.2) with random repeated dropped Wifi signal. Problem occurs with multiple WiFi routers and locations and other machine/devices in the same area connected to the same signal are unaffected. After two days of chat support (which cost me $19 each time, because I am traveling outside of the US) and lots of testing it was determined that my problem was hardware related and needed to be serviced. Also, because I am traveling and will not be back in the US for several months this will be an out of pocket expense for me. I spoke with Customer Care and complained about the poor quality and the fact that this issue started so quickly after my 1 year warranty expired (less than a month), and while they offered to recover the costs of repair, if I could bring the machine back to the US, they could offer me nothing while I am traveling, even though the repair would be covered world-wide under apple care. I asked if they could apply apple care now, I even offered to buy it, to ensure that I would be covered while I am traveling, in case something else goes wrong (which I am fairly certain is bound to happen). I am so unimpressed with the quality of apple's mac books as of late that I do not plan on buying apple products again. This is the second macbook pro that I've had in less than two years with hardware problems that I ended up having to pay to repair, both less than 2 years old. Apple had a chance to make things right for me by either offering to cover the machine under apple care, or at the VERY LEAST allowing me to purchase it now, but sadly these are not options and I am left with a very expensive laptop that is prone to hardware failures, and even more expensive to fix. Sorry to say, but after years of cheerleading apple products I think Im ready to start looking elsewhere.

Apple iPhone 4S got Wet but no one will fix it.
A close friend of mine had her cell phone an Apple iPhone 4s get wet when a 20 foot surge wave engulfed her family’s home during the Typhoon Haiyan in Leyte Philippines. Mined you that getting the Cell phone wet was at no fault of hers or Apple’s. She contacted her carrier Smart and the international Apple representative but they both refused to repair the cell phone because she had gotten it wet. They told her that she has to buy a new iPhone at a cost of $800 usd or 33600php I tried to intervene and contacted the USA Apple Care center they told me that there policy is if an iPhone gets wet there is a onetime fee to either repair or replace this Cell phone which is very fair on their part $149 usd. When I told the representative about what happened they created Case number 54-03*-573. They said they would intervene and get her Cell phone repaired or replaced. After months of talking to Apple they just now told me this morning that even though Apple has a policy in place to either repair or replace an iPhone when it gets wet for a fee that when these iPhones are shipped overseas (dumping) they do not extend this policy to these phones. I was not asking for a hand out only to get the cell phone fixed but Apple does not force there oversea partners to honor their own policies and procedures. What frustrates me the most is that everyone one I talked to at Apple said that it is standard policy to repair or replace the domestic cell phone for a fee but they do not care about how their product is treated once it leaves the USA. That is why products from the USA a considered second rate because we do not stand behind our products or policies around them.

I thought Apple employed "geniuses" Look more like Apple employs clowns for programmers. I waste more time *** around with non-working software from Apple than any other software developer. SHAME ON YOU GUYS !!! Even Microsoft (remember the Evil empire???) can make working Software apps - why can't Apple ???

APPLE STORE ON FIFTH AVENUE - SELLS FLOOR REPRESENTATIVE
I used to have nothing BAD to say about Apple. And, I must admit they have some of the best customer service in-store and on the telephone reps I have ever had to deal with. However, after my LAST visit last year to purchase my iPad 4, I have (at the moment) decided NEVER to visit the Fifth Avenue Store again. Of course, when new products are introduced by APPLE, buyers are treated like cattle who cough up thousands of dollars. Apple Store used to treat its buyers like precious gold. But the richer Apple becomes to more inhumane customers are treated. After, all THEY DON"T NEED MY MONEY! This particular visit, I was literally blocked from getting online by one of their sales people while he spoke with some one else. I'm seriously, angry with myself, because I should have voided the $800 + tax purchase and purchased a Surface. In a few weeks I'll purchase the iPad Air, but instead of Apple, I'll go to Best Buy - where at least I never expect great customer service and my standards are already low - hence no surprises. I can't boycott Apple even for the most serious offense, buyer would just kill me and step over me at the store, not to mention the tourist. Thank you Pissed Consumer - I have a home to vent.

Seriously fed up with Apple
I get a thousand dollar Thunderbolt Display. I open the box, the unit has clearly been returned and purchased again. The wires are a mess. There's something missing. If I'm spending $1000 on an electronic product it better be packed and shipped neatly. It better be new. It better not be a reject. I opened my six month old macbook pro the other day, suddenly the screen is slightly cracked in the lower left corner. It wasn't dropped or mishandled in any way. There's no sign of damage to the exterior. I bought this six months ago. I'm fed up with how delicate Apple products have become. The overall quality and presentation of Apple products has declined. I call the Apple store closest to my home, (which is an hour away) to see if they could repair it same day. I need my mac for finals. I get an automated system. Finally I get some random telephone operator who doesn't even work in the store. She just says 'it all depends on whether or not they have the parts in stock' and I said 'could you connect me to the store so I could ask them?' she said no. Why can't I be connected to the Apple store?? What's the point of having a telephone number if the phone doesn't even ring at the store? It's worse than Ikea's retail phone system. If these products were a bargain I would be a little more lenient but as an Apple customer I'm paying top dollar. I expect the best.

They make it impossible to retrieve forgotten IDs and passwords
My old hard drive crashed three years ago. My ID and password for my iTunes account was in it. When I got my new laptop, I spent DAYS and DAYS trying to find information on the internet on how to reach SOMEBODY at iTunes for information about resetting my ID and password- without opening a new account and losing the hundreds of songs I already purchased from iTunes. I finally gave up, figuring it was not worth having a stroke over and did not try again until today- three years later. If you go to the iTunes forum site, they ask you to log in to post a question. WTF? With the thousands of people who have lost ID and passwords, why does iTunes require users to enter an ID and password to log in to ask how to retrieve an ID and password? Absurd! Their answers are all canned and there is no way to ask a specific (NOT GENERAL) question. It's not possible to explain a problem in detail in one sentence, which is all they will allow "guests" (people not logged in) to submit. When I first tried logging into iTunes today, I clicked that I had lost my password. A form popped up asking for my name and present email address, plus my PREVIOUS email address (which was the one associated with my account, but which is now defunct). I felt a dread when I filled that in, KNOWING they were going to send the information to a defunct email address, which, of course, they did. If they ASK for my current email address, why don't they USE my current email address? I had also forgotten the birthdate I used, because I use different birthdates for the simple reason that I don't like my real age being used to tailor music suggestions, ads, etc. I have literally spent hours trying to find SOME way to contact SOMEONE who can actually answer ONE frigging question. I believe Apple is so greedy that they intentionally make it impossible to retrieve forgotten ID and passwords hoping that you will give up, open a new account, and re-buy the music you already own. I do all my shopping online, and Apple is the ONLY company that makes it impossible to retrieve lost ID and passwords. Google Play Store allows me to download purchased apps as many times as I like, so there is no reason for iTunes not to make it easy to retrieve forgotten IDs and passwords. They just hope you'll give up. I hope and pray that sites like Spotify put these greedy thieves out of business real soon. I will never buy another music download from them again.

Apple takes away local syncing to millions and stays in silence!
A few years ago, Apple had announced the abolishment of MobileMe. It was a nice and reliable service. With over a years notice, before removing MobileMe, it was a foreseeable change and therefore there was time for everyone to find an alternative solution. As millions of people have been synchronizing their mobile device with iTunes for years, being able to exchange and update Calendars and Contacts between devices, it comes as a totals surprise, for Apple to remove this function in the new operating system "Maverick". No warning was given about the plans of removing local syncing. The irony is, that Maverick was offering this new update for free, so it motivated people to upgrade immediately. Once updated, the damage was done. No more local syncing. Apple left millions with the only option: Apple's own iCloud service. iCloud is a good functioning service, as we are used to from Apple. But, the down side is that you must have Internet connection. iCloud is like a big Hard Drive, where many people (without realizing it) are storing their most confidential, most private information. People not only store their own information, but the entire content of their address books and calendars, in other words millions of addresses and information of people, whom might not want to have their address on a Hard Drive, on the other side of the world. This is just an example and it might be a small detail to some, because if you have nothing to hide then you could probably care less about your information being monitored. Unless of course its information that doesn't belong to you, like addresses or photos of other people who might not even know about info of them being stored at some strangers property..... But why would apple abolish such an important feature? Why would they do it "over night"? Without notice. No warning, nothing. Why is it that the only option that they have left for all of us Apple users is iCloud? There is something suspicious about this.... My children all use devices from Apple (about 8 iPhones and 4 iPads in the household). Since the upgrade, since there is no longer the possibility to synchronize the devices locally, via WiFi or with a USB cable, they are now all syncing with iCloud. Well, little did they know, that after 5 GB this syncing thing is no longer for free! I don't even want to start thinking of the dimension of revenues, that gets swamped into Apples bank account, having suddenly millions of new iCloud users. The Cloud that will eventually cost money. Let me come to the main issue. Apple has taken away the choice for millions of users. People that have all paid no little money for their products. Apple users have been cheated on by Apple. They have been mislead. Apple users have purchased Apple products, based on the various possibilities and conveniences and valuable services. Including local syncing. But that's no more... http://www.change.org/petitions/apple-bring-the-100-offline-sync-for-ios-back http://www.bubblews.com/news/144****-apple-mavericks-os-removes-local-device-syncing http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/11/07/apple_mandates_icloud_contact_syncing/ http://www.20min.ch/digital/dossier/apple/story/Cloud-Zwang-unter-Mavericks-1455****

Apple Aids iPhone Thieves
A few weeks after a team of 2 women worked together to steal my iPhone in a crowded bar and reporting the incident to the Chicago Police, I received email notices from AppleCare that my replacement iPhone was being shipped to a person and address on the north side of Chicago. I live in Indiana. The cops say there is nothing they can do. How does AppleCare justify sending this replacement iPhone to a name, address and credit card number that have nothing to do with my account???? THIS would be one of the reasons why iPhone thefts are such a plague. Tks for aiding and abetting the the common low-life thieves of the world Apple and not supporting one of your paying customers.
