APPLE PROFITS from Crank Calls

It is one thing to get a random crank call. Many just call your number using numerical lists. (ex:555-****, then 555-****, then 555-**** etc.) and some use a list you are on (intentionally or unintentionally) via the small print when you buy a product or join some group (big example: AARP selling your telephone number along with your name and address to a left-leaning political group). All of these examples show lousy people doing lousy things. But.... when your phone rings for only 1/2 a ring and then goes directly to voicemail, leaving you an unsolicited email - that's because APPLE sold them the code needed in order to go past the ring (hence the 1/2 a ring) and directly to your voicemail. THEY HAVE CONTROL OF YOUR PHONE. Now let's reflect on an incident in 2015 when the FBI wanted to snoop on an iPhone of a couple charged with Terrorism. The FBI had a warrant from a judge and their peaking was completely above board. APPLE said no. They, in essence, would not help the USA fight Terrorism because their Encryption was that important to them. The FBI hacked it anyway with the help of a third party. Remember the more recent story of APPLE being caught snooping your iCloud files? They, in that case, didn't care about your PRIVACY because they had a chance to sell information about you and make a profit doing it. I wonder what would have happened if the FBI offered APPLE $1M? So, is it far reaching to accuse APPLE of selling code to get to your voicemail? Let's dig deeper... have you noticed how hard it is to simply open your phone, DID I SAY PHONE and replace the battery? Not only does APPLE not want you to, they void any level of support once you do and they threaten and sue 3rd parties who do. There is legislation in US Congress right now that simply states "if you own it, you can fix it" Apple is fighting htat. So next time you > an iPhone ask them how many restrictions there will be when iphone payments are done. APPLE is profiting from allowing 3rd parties to call your iPhone and leave unsolicited voicemails. Oh, sorry. Did I say '> phone? I apologize.

I started a charity, called 501 Voices it is not 501(c)3 yet but working on it. i give tablets and i tune gift cards to non-verbal children of low to moderate income families that do not have means to buy one on there own. I spend roughly $200 to $350 on the iPad and another $250 to $300 for the actual app most popular is Proloquo2Go. I have given out 24 of these "Voices" so far, my goal is to give out 501Voices. the first one i gave was back in Dec 2016. was an iPad 4, at the time it was great iPad, bought it for $380. now, that first Voice, Voice #1 is having major issues on the app as she cannot update it. iPad 4 can only do IOS 10, and now you need 11.4 on Prloquo2Go to run with all its updates. I get they want to keep coming out with better stuff both the app and the iPad, but why make the older version STOP WORKING- you are literally taking away a voice for these children!!! I simply will not be able to purchase a new iPad every few years for 501 kids! If anyone out there can help me please let me know.

Too much technical reference with no explanation to the layman. I'm not a troll or a moron, but I don't recognize or understand most of it. My elderly father purchased 100 I-pads for his childhood school district ; they are used by autistic children most of whom seem to respond very strongly to the devices.

Sorry for the jargon, if your child was non verbal, you would get it. Basically Apple plans functional obsolescence on all iPads forcing people to buy the newer version

I'm sure you're correct about planned obsolescence. That's been a policy with so many manufacturers for decades.

I don't care if they improve something or introduce a new model (that's progress) but they absolutely should not make them incompatible with existing models. And I have seen plenty of non verbal kids, re: the part about my Dad and the 100 I-pads - but you're right, my kid is overly verbal and never shuts up !

Terrible customer service

When we arrived in time for our 5:10 appointment to replace our iPhone batteries, we were told that they couldn't actually do any of the work that day (they couldn't even replace one of the three batteries) and we would need to reschedule. They said it takes longer than an hour to replace a battery (what kind of design is that?) and they close at 6:00 today. So they knew when the appointment was made that they wouldn't be able to do the work, causing us to drive nearly an hour each way for nothing.

Battery Replacement in Laptop

Turns out you can't get laptop batteries replaced without sending it away. I can't do that as it's my primary work machine. The people at the Apple store said that they'd call me and see if they could set it up, but I'm still waiting on a call back from their service department to see if we can arrange it.

I would like to get my money back that they took off my card of $200.00

iTune gift I was getting an apple card and I need it actually two cards and they told me I should go get a $200 card I went to the Family Dollar store and got the $200 card and then I couldn't separate to collect to send $100 a piece to each one of my nieces and then I talk to them on the phone in the girl took the money off the card and that was all that happened in there they never got back with me and then when I finally was able to get ahold of them again for some reason we got disconnected and I have not been able to get ahold of them

Another one bite the dust

since i'm a person that say what they mean and mean what they say i just paid off everything i owe on my EIP payment with the exception of a 158.46 that i still owe on my Powerbeats that i bought at a T-mobile store. My EIP plan was 170.00 without the powerbeats which has a balance of 158.46. My monthly bill is due on the 21st so after that my account will be free of charges except for the Powerbeats 3 whatever happens after that is anybody guess but one thing i do know this company won't and can't admit any wrong doings because soon as word get around that they admitted any wrong doing we all know what's going to happen then but that's not my concern right now my concern is that they fix my ear hone through warranty and not out of pocket which means i'm going to have a fight on my hand for the balance that i owe is 158.46 and lets not forget what they want me to pay for repairs 99.00 =+ 6.95 =105.95 which is half of a new pair i promise i'm not paying another dime

Can you say shady

before i tell you the latest about Apple i finally resolved my issues with Transamerica i can't go into any details but it was a mutual decision thank God i was about to do something drastic like i'm about to do with Apple for two days i have been asking that crooked company just to tell me what kind of physical damage and i keep getting the same old *** well today i fax T-mobile a letter stating that since i bought those defected earphones from one of there store that part of the problem is there and they should reach out to this company since they refused to reach out to me like i have been doing with them. Each time i do a chat or called it's the same old answer they'll have a supervisor to call me but i never get a call back if they did no messages from this company was left.Do these companies know if they have no customers where would they be let me answer that they would be having a going out of business sales. Now this is the very reason i don't throw anything that has to do with companies because you never know when you might need a paper trails which i think i'm going to need i have transcript of all my conversations from Apple chat line and you can read where i asked for a mailing address so i can lodge a complaint or an email address but was told they only have a feed back email address and the transcript also show what i said about the earphone that despite the part that was broke that they was in good working condition when i sent them and when they sent them back. My question is how in the world could they say the product wasn't working correctly especially since they working the same way when i sent them and sent them back now unless they believe an astral projection (when the body can travel all over the universe) since i'm almost sure they can't can how can they speak on something they have no clue unless they talking bout that 2 minute investigation they did when they received my product. So now the only choice i have before me is to close my account with T-mobile because those powerbeats 3 is only a payment plan for 24 months at 8.34 a month going into my fifth payment so to stop them from getting another dime from me calls for desperate measure so at the end of this month after almost 17 years as a T-mobile customer i will be closing my account pay off what i owe except for those defected powerbeats i'm not sure how the payment plans work and really don't care but whomever i owe the only way they will see another dime from me is to take me to court and a judge order me which i seriously doubt especially when he see my two documents that contradict what your tech stated and the part where i stated that the piece that goes around the ear broke off but is still in good working conditions and where you stated that if there any physical damage i would have to pay out of pocket so when i used the word broke does that not mean physical damage if so why did you still have me send it in only to be sent back a few days later so i welcome you to take me to court. Now don't think because you won't hear from me until later on in the months it's not because you might think i'm all talk and no action trust me you don't want to underestimate me it just me and one of my sister take turns watching over our mom because she said there no way she going to be around a whole bunch of senior citizen the woman be 86 next week so it's my turn so i won't let nothing especially something so trivial to distract me from my mom but afterward i will continue

i can't give you an update for Transamerica right now but i can tell you about another shady company called Apple Inc. I bought a pair of Beats earphones from T-mobile less than five months later the part that goes around the ears broke off call T-mobile and they told me to call Powerbeats so i did a online chat told them my issue i was told that if after their investigation it shows physical damage that i would have to pay out of pocket to have them fixed i told her that if the the earphone still works without the part that goes around the ear to me that means they're still in good working condition what made me know that no matter the outcome i was going to be charged a fee to fix them they sent my earphone back with a note stating that they tried to reach me to see if i wanted to do an out of warranty service because they found an issue that wasn't mention on the original repair request and that my product isn't working correctly because it has accidental damage so i asked what kind of accidental damage i have yet to get any kind of an explanation what's funny if my earphone wasn't working correctly then why am i still able to hear thru them without any problems, dealing with so many shady companies i knew they was going to concoct a story ( create or devise ) which i believe they did and no mater what the outcome would be after there investigation i still was going to be charge a fee to fix it. I'm going to take my earphones to another store to find out whether or no they're telling me the truth for there sake i hope they're telling the truth and not trying to con me out of my money.and paid them to see if this company wasn't trying to con me out of my money i contacted T-mobile told them what's was going on that this company actually think i would come out of my pocket to pay for there defected product well they need to rethink that there's no way in the world that i'm going to keep paying 8.34 a month for two years for a product that is a inconvenience because i constantly have to keep putting it back on my ear in message to T-mobile i asked them to see if they can find a solution to this issue so that i don't have to keep paying that shady company any more of my money if not then after over 16 yrs i have been a loyal customer that i will close my account pay off the bill except for the Beats and the only they would get any money from me for the Beats is to take me to court and let the judge tell me whether or not to pay those crooks i would rather closed my account and get a free government phone before i pay for those earphones. This has been a long journey first fingerhut then people gas,comEd,then Globe life ,Transamerica,T-mobile,then the postal service and the landlord that took over my previous resident each one i settle out of court without prejudice told you i'm like a dog with a bone and you know you don't try and take it cause you just about know that it will go the defense

IPhone

After years using android, I finally decided to buy an IPhone since my friends would always tell me how worth it was. I’m from Brazil, and buying an IPhone isn’t that cheap when compared to other countries, but I was ready to give it a shot. I bought the IPhone 8 back in June this year. At first I really liked it and was happy about it, but after the second month the only plug it has, which is used for both charging and plugging the headphones, started giving problems ( 2 freaking months) It stops charging and playing the song all the time until I unplug it and plug it again. I take really good care of my phone and it doesn’t have a single scratch. I paid a lot of money for something that worked properly for only two freaking months.

IPhone xr screen protector

My daughter just purchased an iPhone xr from Apple she paid $40.00 to have them install a screen protector. They use a machine less than a week later the screen protector cracked without any pressure on the phone. Apple said NOT OUR PROBLEM contact Belkin who conveniently does not have inventory to replace because all their inventory is in Apple stores. What a crock DO NOT pay Apple $40.00 they don’t care or back what they sell
