My Mac had turned real slow so I took it to Apple Customer Support. After 3 days, they gave me a call saying it would cost 900 Dollars to get the Mac repaired because the Flash Drive had a problem. They slow down older phones
a few years ago, i bougyt an iphone 5s. it was working perfectly fine, until two years LATER when i tried opening an app of which used to work PERFECTLY on my phone, snapchat. Keep in mind, that I didn't download anything hramful to my phone such as a jailbreak or an untrusted app or service. I kept my phone full of iCloud space and just, general storage space... I didn't feel too good about this situation, so i visited my carrier store, tmobile, to see if, you know, maybe i am late on my bill or something,... nope. Everything's payed up, no late or due bills or nothing. but then a man from the tmobile customer service informed me on the scandal of apple slowing down older phones so that the consumer will upgrade to a newer phone and waste their precious money on something that really isn't needed. I was outraged. I still am. i wasted around 1.6k on apple products that just ended up getting slowed down either way. What the *** guys... I mean COME ON!!!! you guys already have BILLIONS of dollars, what the actual *** guys!!!!

Misrepresentation of Product and Service
Next to my current carrier, Apple has by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I got an iphone from CredoMobile a month ago. It hasn't worked since. I've done all the things suggested to get it working, multiple times, and every time I contact Apple they just go through the same steps. Finally, my issue was escalated to their engineers and I was supposed to receive a call back from the senior adviser who helped collect all the data they needed. She was supposed to call at a specific time, whether or not the engineers were able to resolve the problem, and she didn't. I came home early from work. No call. Now I'm on my 3rd "senior adviser" who is apparently reading from the same script the others did. No resolution after 3+ weeks.

Too big to care
The Apple store wasn’t as crowded as it usually is. My wife dropped of her iPhone for a battery replacement at 6:00pm. I won’t mention that it took over a month for the battery to arrive at the store. We were told that the phone would be ready for pickup at 7:00pm. We arrived back at the store at about 7:15. We were told to sit at table were other misfortunate people were sitting waiting for the one person who was bringing 2 or 3 phones from the backroom and going through the process of returning them to the customers. He was very thorough and took his time while doing his job. My wife complained and one of the other Apple associates who was walking around retrieved her phone and apologized for her wait. We left the store at 8:06pm.

Don't Let Apple Spy on you
Yesterday my wife and I tried to send a video on our iphone but it would not go through as it said we had to enable imessage. We never had to do this before. Did some research and I find out Apple wants you to use imessage to send texts through as it goes through their server. Why else would they want this other than to gather information on you and what and who you send it to??? We disabled imessage in message settings and made sure the MMA box was on and the messages go through like they used to. Wonder who turned this feature on - - NOT US. Wonder who this phone REALLY belongs to, me who paid $800.00 for it or Apple who sold it? Yeah stupid question.

Battery iphone 6s
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! After reporting a weak battery back in January 2018, my iPhone 6s finally would not turn on at all. I contacted the store in the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester NH on 3/8/18, to see if my battery was in yet. After being told it was still not in, I contacted Apple support where I was told that the battery was coming from and they contacted the store for me. I went to the store that night and waited 1 ½ hours for them to put my battery in, just to be told that the phone was no good and still wouldn’t turn on. He then wanted to sell me a new phone. I ask the salesman if he left the new battery in the phone and I was told yes. I went home and removed the cover to view the new battery, just to find out there was not a new battery. I called the store manager and was told that they did put the battery in the phone. I then went to the local phone repair shop and asked him to diagnose the phone. He stated that the phone ONLY needed a battery and that the battery had never been replaced. I then called Apple support again to report the store and their fraud. They told me that they would file a report and get back to me and then set an appointment up at Best Buy in the Mall of New Hampshire, where I went the next night. Once there, I was told by the store manager that they couldn’t replace my battery, because the phone wouldn’t turn on. The phone wouldn't turn on because it had a dead battery, but they didn’t care and wouldn’t replace it. I then called Apple again, just to be put on hold and bounced around for an 1 hour. I finally gave up and had the battery replaced by the third party repair shop and the phone works fine now. Please beware that Apple stores are fraudulently condemning phones just to sell a new phone. This is the last time that I will ever buy an Apple product again.

Apple customer service has been horrific at best. The automated "assistant" is ineffective and takes way to long. Apple doesn't mind wasting our time at all. I tried 3 times to call my local store because I have a pending service request. The automated assistant put me through a mind numbing process and then further wasted my time by taking forever to ask me what kind of music I wanted to listen to while I wait long periods of time for a human. Then the music is inaudible scratchy crap. It also took me 3 weeks to make a genius bar appointment to replace my battery then 1 week to wait for the appointment. I made the appointment online and clicked "replace battery" as the reason. The night before my appointment I received an email saying I needed to "reserve" a battery. I went to the Apple store anyway and they agreed that it was incredibly stupid to wait until the night before and the tech told me this happened quite often. He said that they have reported this and other problems but higher ups in Apple are deaf to their concerns/complaints also. I reserved the battery and was told several weeks. I received an email to call but I can not reach a human because of the broken automation on the phone and long, long waits. When I went to complain on the Apple site there is no drop down selection for complaints and you can not submit with making a selection that doesn't apply. Senior Apple personnel are completely disconnected with the real world and don't give a damn about their customers. Please, Please, Please do not buy any more Apple products. You can break the addiction. I have purchased 5 iPhones, 1 MacBook, 1 Mac, 2 iPods, and 2 iPads. I will be crushing them all in front of my local Apple store with a sledge hammer very soon. Hopefully I can get some social media and live media attention to Apples policies and service deficiencies.

I had 10 different apple "advisors" in the past 2 weeks as somehow my new iPad seems to have screwed my email. I have talked with my internet provider 5 different advisor, my finer provider more than 6 times.
I also have had the travelling advisor twice which cost me $100 and the fibre tech in my home, who pronounced all well.I figure between on hold and talking to useless advisors I have spent over 100 hr,This the last straw. Im returning my iPad which started this whole circus and Apple has seen at the last of me and my money.
Advisors seem to feel they are at the right hand of god. Good riddance
June 2nd and my issue is still not resolved. On my 6th senior adviser who, of course, promised a call today - which I came home early for - and didn't deliver.
So, the original problem resolved ITSELF in July. Now I have another issue - phone gets HOT and battery drains rapidly.
I actually took this one to the Apple store and they told me everything is fine.
iPhones "do that." Hm...NO. Really and truly hate this company.
