IPad2 sucks it always has problem connecting to wifi

I bought a new iPad2 16G wifi 3G at Target Covina Ca in October 2011. I was excited and thought it would function as well as Apple Co advertised. Now after using it for some days, I am totally disappointed and pissed. It always had problem connecting with wifi. At the same time that my desk top and laptop had no problem connecting with my home wifi at all, however, my new purchased iPad2 had continual problem connecting with my home wifi. I had also tried other public wifi area, it happened the same to my iPad2. Apple Co shame on you! Your product iPad2 is a junk. If you Apple Co read this complaint, take some actions!

I can't repair my Iphone

It's incredible. My IPHONE, bought at TIM Store - São Jose dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil, is broken since september 01 - I bought my Iphone in july 26. I asked to Tim for the repair, but they didn't repair my IPHONE. The battery can't charge and after 10 min is super heated TOO BAD PURCHASE. Tomorrow morning I'm going to the Justice, because I can't accept this situation. I have put this history in the several web sites in Brazil,and outside of my country, because I can't accept this treatment with a customer

Apple + Virgin Canada can't unlock iphone what a ***!!

My son purchased a iphone 4 from Virgin Canada. He has now moved back to Australia and can't get the iphone unlocked from Virgin Canada. They say they don't unlock and Apple say they can't unlock, its up to Virgin. Where does this leave the consumer. This is disgraceful - how can they stop people using an item that they have actually purchased. Everyone in Canada - avoid Virgin Canada. He has tried online companies that state they unlock iphones but this hasn't wlorked either. If anyone has any ideas please let us know. I would like to say that Virgin Australia are fantastic, but avoid Virgin Canada like the plague!!!!!!!

First I want to start with Apple policy. They sell Phones in bulk to the carriers. Part of their contract with all carriers is that they will provide them in a state that is locked to that carrier and under no circumstances will Apple ever unlock a phone, ever. They have never offered or advertised this to the public and likely never will.

Apple does sell unsubsidized phones that are not locked starting at around $600. The problem is not many carriers are willing to unlock a phone since that is a guarantee the phone will be off their network and they can never profit off of them again. I'm not sure which international carriers do unlocks but in the USA only AT&T is currently offering this, only if you pay full price for the phone (as in the non contract price which is the same Apple charges) or they will unlock it if your contract with them expires.

Your issue is with the wireless carriers and not Apple. Good job at posting in the incorrect section.

One last tip, be like 50 million other iphone owners and just jailbreak the thing, its not hard and is fairly safe as long as you are not a total n00b with computers.

Second, and here is the sad part :

What you purchased was the legal right to use the hardware and software within the iPhone. You have the legal right to use it as described in the terms of use. You do not have the right to modify, inspect, alter or change any part of the hardware, or software. Nor are you allowed to reverse engineer any part of the hardware, or software for any reason.

Unfortunately, no one seems to understand what they are paying for. :-(

I have had the same exact issue. I paid the full price at Virgin as I had to move to the US and they said they cannot unlock the iPhone - they will unlock every other phone though

SO disappointed with Virgin. This is purely something that Virgin needs to address. They had me pay any extra 4 months fill in Canada saying that the service would be available in a few months. Those months have come and gone and now I finally terminated all my ties with them with their sorry *** thinking they are helping me by saying "Apple will unlock it for you"... where as I have spoken to MULTIPLE Apple store geniuses and each of them has ALWAYS had the same response: we don't unlock, your carrier must.

Also, how come it is legal for Virgin to open every other phone but the iPhone EVEN WHEN ONE HAS PAID FULL PRICE FOR IT>

EXTORTION and none of this is what they tell you when you sign up. THey say " yes yes you can unlock it if you pay full price"

BLAST THESE Virgin people... now I have a brick

Defective Apple Macbook pro 2011

I purchased a 17 inch Macbook Pro 17 inch from Best Buy in Boynton beach Florida in August of this year. The computer had the lion operating system installed. After a few days Apple released an update to improve wifi issues with the computer. since the update my computer willnot load pages, will not allow access to my msn messenger, yahoo messenger, Yahoo mail. I contacted Apple care numerous tumes. They were very rude and are yet to correct the problem. I brought the computer to the Apple store and they told me tio wait for the next update. I brought the computer to best buy and they weren't able to duplicate the problem so the will not rturn my money. I cannot access my router as I live in a large building and I have no way of changing it due to the complications due to the last upgrade. I would like my money back but apple and best buy refuses.

Best Buy is well known for not caring/fixing a problem, but in your case, I am quite surprised about apple care. Call them back!

Ask to speak with "Tier 2" These are nice people that will work with you to fix a problem.

They were great when I needed my iphone replaced. If this doesn't work for you, email some higher-ups at apple, this usually gets results!

Apple won't allow me to buy music

When I purchased a song on my iPod, it never appeared in my music library. I went on my computer to buy it afterwards and I TYPED MY ITUNES PASSWORD and it said it was wrong! Sometimes your email provider will prevent the reset email to show up. It happens alot at the store.

Delay in service

I have bought a Mac book pro 15' on 29th april 2011, i have been having problems about its display and battery since then i used to go to the mac service centre for its continous problem on 25th july it stopped completely its display and on charging it was nt starting so again i went to service centre they told me the problem is in battery from 26th july since now i have still not received my battery. the order is still not shipped. this delay is affecting my work as i have to work with charger they are saying we will ship it on 27th then wat it is the use of buying a mac product wherein i have to roam with a charger for charging now and then i would have bought a someother laptop

Apple India service sucks

I had purchased an IPAD 64 GB wifi from France last October. Upon release of the new OS I wanted to upgrade and thus started backing up my apps. That did not work, so I took it to an Apple Service Center on MG Road, Bangalore to get the new OS loaded. They took their sweet time in diagnosing the problem but could not render a sufficient explanation why the apps weren't backing up and why the new OS wasn't loading. So I decided to take it to the genuine Apple Care Center located at UB City, Bangalore. The servicemen made me wait for half an hour before addressing me, since they were having lunch at 5 in the evening. Once I told them my problem, they asked me to wait and made me wait for another 20 min, before finally telling me they were downloading the new OS version and the process may take 4-5 hours. Obviously I was pissed off and left, but decided to return the next weekend. This time I told them I would wait in a coffee shop while they load the new system. Half an hour later I get a call again from the service man saying that he has started downloading another new version which had just released and the process would take 4-5 hours. I grabbed by Ipad and left, pissed again, but went back the next day so I could avoid the weekly OS upgrades. This time he took my Ipad, made me wait again from nearly 2 hours while he tried upgrading the OS and asked me to leave the IPad as the OS upgrade was not working. Finally after 3 days he gets back to me saying the original OS may not have been loaded properly and he would have to format the drive before he could load the new OS. This would mean losing all my purchased apps and e-books which I am not comfortable doing. I am going back tomorrow to get my IPad back. Apple, if you are listening, this will not resonate well with my professional and my personal circle as well. Your services leave much to be desired. If you can help me resolve this issue, please do. Geoff Blough - Not a 'Genius'

Last Saturday I went to the Apple store in Fairfax, VA to obtain service on one of my Apple products. A so-called "genius," Geoff Blough, was assigned to assist me. His only answer for anything was "bebuild it...rebuild it!..it needs to be wiped" He certainly has no knownledge of technology beyond elementary consumer-grade products or issues. While that is somewhat expected, on top of that, my overall customer experience was terrible due to his arrogance. I strongly recommend that you avoid the "Genius" Geoff Blough at the Fairfax, VA Fair Oaks store. I believe Apple has good products, but it could certainly stand to improve its customer service.

I'm on my 5th iPhone - all hardware problems - and here's how Apple expresses the 'sincerity' of their concern: Four more days [two weeks total since last contact, over a month since initial contact] and still no communication, no response, nothing. Update. 3 of the 4 movies have been redownloaded.

The 4th can not be because as three of the \"senior\" agents have advised \"...the movie was originally for sale as a stereo sound movie. The movie is now been upgraded to a Dolby sound movie and is therefore not the same product. We cannot grant you credit or a redownload of this movie. It is technically a different product.\".

Now a fourth \"senior\" agent has also called, and she has granted the credit for the movie back to my credit card, after reading all the other notes. She indicated that the other \"senior\" agents\' comments were \"nonsense\".

I have 4 movies with "extras" where the "extras" no longer play. Customer service at Apple state this is normal. What happens is the company that creates the "extras" can take them off the iTunes market, change them and then re-add them. Once they are re-added they are technically a different product and you (who already purchased the product) will no longer have use of this product. So even though I bought a working product, because they changed what they sell to the next guy, my version will just cease to work. They say that's the way it works and there is no customer recourse.

Lost the sale where is my return for the bids I used?

I understand that we can redeem bids lost when we lost the bid on an article. Can't find out how to do this. I hope I am not charged for anything since I couldn't win any bids. I cannot reccommend this site to any friends at this time. I would love the chance to try again. I thought it was fun but was not successful in my bidding. Lost in the last 1 or 2 seconds. I would like the chance to try again but my budget will not allow me to throw money away. I hope you can help.

Apple MacBook Pro

I was assisted to buy an Apple Mac Pro laptop computer to finish my education, at a distance. I have been using laptops for many years. This was to be my dream computer, which would go on to assist me in my home-based business based on my disabilities. There were problems from the beginning. I had a warranty, so Apple sent boxes 2 times for me to send the computer back. They said the fixed 1-Unrecognized Drive, Bracket, and Enclosure-Mechanical/Cosmetic Damaged, installed a new hard drive, and I had to perform numerous hours of telephone troubleshooting. the first time. This put me way behind in college, which cost more for each missed semester. I purchased the extended 3 1/2 warranty, and Apple Protection Plan. The 2nd time Apple sent a box and installed another hard drive, a nw operating systems, and it became the 4th time we performed numerous telephone troubleshooting. Since I part of my disabiities are related to seizures, because of anxiety, and panic attack, I had 2 seizures when the computer was worst then ever. My business failed (which I had worked on for 22 years ) because of receivng terrible e-mails, and the college again told me I would not be allowed to graduate. i had to spend more time and money from school, and became home bound, alone, and would not talk to anyone, hoping if I kept typing the papers over and over the instructors would except them The fonts changed size and colors, and integrated all kinds of other documents, and so much more, but Apple would not replace my computer which is this computer tat I will not do anything but e-mail, and research. I was also supposed to receive a free Ipad because of al the problems. It was worst the ever this previous semester, and i will not ne going back to college, and my 22 year old business left people without important work I had done for them for 22 years, so I lost y business. Apple wants to send me a box again, and do the same thing over. I want my computer replaced, and my Ipad, and I will never use this computer for anything other then what I previously mentioned.I used to train others to use computers, so I am not a novice, just a disabled person who was trying to go back to being a productive member of society. I purchased an apple I-MAC 6 months ago. Recently took to apple store with small issues -- APPLE STORE GREAT!!!! The reason I purchased the mac at best buy was they had a great finance package- only reason. When we decided to purchase the sales associate offered an open box one. I said no, we want a new one not a used one. He informed us that he had just sold this that morning and the couple had brought it back 20 minutes later because it did not fit on their desk, assured us it had not been plugged in, nor turned on. My trip to apple store proved otherwise, computer had 4 days left on warranty, it had been registered to another owner. I had gone to best buy right after purchasing, asking why I was not prompted for registration, I am new to apples, told don't need to do that with apples , the purchase of the item registers the product. Called customer service, Best buy has no customer service just lip service. Price manager called me *** for not knowing open box meant used, even though they do not disclose this. She threatened me with police arrest if I spoke to other customers about their misleading associates. Just ask yourself do I want to spend a large amount of money at a store that will allow associates to lie to you and mislead you in a purchase. You may need to be spending a large amount to correct their dishonest practices.

My guess is that the price manager, whatever her name is, forgot to remove the corncob from her nasty snatch before reporting to work. There isn't a damned thing the police could do if you talked to other customers about their treatment of customers.

I'd like to know how this was categorized as an "Apple Complaint". It is clearly a complaint against Best Buy. Early on the complainer even states, in all caps, "APPLE STORE GREAT!!!!" I would guess that "pissedconsumer.com" labelled it incorrectly...perhaps out of incompetence on their part.

Scammed on ioffer

Don't be fooled like I was by a seller on ioffer selling Apple ipads. He lets you make an offer after suggesting $330.00 for the item. When you make this person an offer they accept and tell you to pay with Paypal. I did just that and it went for a week before the tracking number showed up at all. It arrived two weeks after I paid for it. It was a bracelet in a box and it probably costs $1.00. I made complaints to ioffer and no response. Paypal is reviewing my case. These scammers never communicate with you at all. I have recently read blogs about the same thing happening to other people and they also never received any response from ioffer. Donna
