Thank you for not allowing me to continue to pay Apple for products and services it provides. An interesting business model

I have had an issue with an iPhone and iPad that I needed help with. Chatting with anonymous person was time consuming and she had no authority to resolve issues. At her suggestion I called there Nazi automated phone line but was told I would need to pay $30.00 just to be connected to a service rep. The link to customer complaints went nowhere. I will replace my devices with non Apple products in the future. Apples business practices are unacceptable. Apple Apple apple. I will not be a customer in the future. So I must enter 100 character, so is this site an apple scam to control perceptions of the company

Don't report a charge that was charged by their error .....

So I have a few favorite games I play. I was double billed for a purchase I made. On the receipt, it suggests that you click here to report. I reported the duplicate charge and had my ID disabled and credit card blocked. 15 days later, I finally have access to my account, however my 1 credit card I own is now blocked and can never be used again. It took me 18 total hours on the phone to resolve what their fraud department did in 5 minutes in activating my ID which no one knew or had the know how to solve! So now I can no longer pay for games or upgrades nor purchase from Apple unless I get a new credit card... And that is not going to happen! So good bye Apple, your team needs training and your days of double charging me are done. If I can not challenge an expense without fear of going through this again, than you are not worthy of my business. Buyers beware, look on line at their lack of service and support before you buy...I will be burned no more! ( I have bought over time and family 5 Laptops, 6 iPads, 14 iPhones)

Apple doesn't care if you get hacked!

I got an email saying someone tried to change my apple id password. Upon going in to rectify this I found a bogus apple id and that my actual apple id didn't work. After spending hours on the phone, the first agent gave me a bogus call back number and the second agent hung up on me. The second agent refused to hear what I was saying, asking me the same *** questions again and again, and blathered on about how she wouldn't want her account hacked either. I have to say about 15 times that here was no email in existence like the one that showed up for my account. So now there is someone using my apple account and my actual account says "not found", Let it be known, apple DOES NOT CARE if someone hacks your account!!! why have security tools in place if they don't care to use them to protect their users? RIDICULOUS!!! If you go onto the forums looking for help and see others with cs issues, all of the responses are from obvious apple employees, shaming the person for complaining when they have a more than legitimate issue. They receive ZERO help. So know that when someone hacks into your account, apple will not help you at all. People need to know this before they buy!

Apple - Iphone Back Up Review from Tyler, Texas

Today I backed up my iPhone so I could take it in to have the battery replaced under warranty. I rarely backup my phone; less than four times in two years due to the following problem. Each time I restore ALL the music I added via my personal CD collection disappears (over 230 CD's) from iTunes on my phone, backup and iMac / iTunes. No one at Apple will address this much accept responsibility. It's MY phone and legally I can do and put whatever I want on it as evidenced by the lawsuit Apple lost regarding the right for others to jail break theirs. This is nothing short of THEFT! But Apple has billions and that makes them feel they can do anything because no one can afford to sue them. I doubt this will do any good but BEWARE of the thieves at Apple. I will not backup again and will keep my music on separate drive. I'm converting all my music to lossless FLAC anyways, which I'm sure they'll find a way to steal it also. SHAME ON YOU APPLE.

MacBook Air stopped working within warranty & they say they do not have parts

Hey Mr. Apple ( I am addressing the organisation as whole) you may have made the name by making fantastic products but you must know the arrogance of success will lead you to the path of destruction. If you will plunder our hard earned money like this then the day is not far when you will be in rotten shape. These Apple guys are looting the money here and in name of service treat us like ***. I am cursing the day I bought Apple MacBook. I am going through a harrowing experiences. They are the cheat of top order. They have no Indian point of contact, the call centre number from where you get a call is a Singapore number (probably to avoid prosecution in india). I just now learnt they do not own a single store in india and everything from sales and service is on third party. They are not governed by any Indian guidelines and working as fly by night operators. When you will ask for any escalation matrix or written communication they will bluntly refuse to do so. They are even liers of the top order and shamelessly push forward their own viewpoint. On top of that they claim they are never at fault and they will find fault with either consumer or the government. They should be immediately be banned to sell their products in india until they make proper guidelines as per our law or extend similar service levels as in USA. Mind it they charge same or more what they charge in USA for their products. They are making unlimited profits without shouldering any responsibility.

Apple - Iphone 4S Review from Fresno, Texas

After updating my iPhone 4s and iPad to iOS 8.4 I immediately had to delete several apps to make room rather than buy more storage from money hungry Apple Inc. after installing the software I have problems getting the devices to turn on, web site links doesn't work most of the time, and my battery drains faster. The company should have warned cystrrmers with iPhone 4s that there may be issues. I believe Apple in so greedy that their new software updates are actually created to have problems with older devices to get users to upgrade to a more expensive phone and iPad. I feel there should be a formal federal Investigation.

Apple - Iphone 6 Plus Review from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I purchased an iPhone 6 plus 5 months ago for an outrageous sum of money. Advertisements highlight the fantastic camera. Well it is ***. Within 5 months, the rear camera stops focusing and only takes blurry pictures. I am told I have to take it to an Apple Store to get it fixed. The service at the Apple story is crappier than the iPhone camera. I am told I have to wait 2.5 HOURS for a technician to help me. Seriously? Do they not think we have better things to do with our time than sit for that long waiting for some help to fix a phone that should never have broken in the first place so soon after purchase. I am appalled at the quality of Apple products these days and of the ***-poor service I got trying to fix it. If it hadn't cost me more than $600 to get, I'd throw it in the garbage and go to Samsung Galaxy. This is not a monopoly. Last time I checked, in a competitive space like this is, if you do t take care of your customers YOU LOSE THEM.

Resolved: Apple Iphone 6 Plus - Bad decision to buy it...

I am a Brazilian resident and changed exchanged my old Iphone 5S to a new unblocked Iphone 6 Plus for U$500. The worse decision ever. First, the battery does not last in comparaison with previous iphone and even worse vs. other competitors. The worse, this Iphone 6 Plus bends if you are sitting and leave the iphone in your pocket. Drop the Iphone 6 Plus from 1m/3.3ft and Apple Store in Brazil want to charge R$1400,00 (USD$456) while Apple UK want to charge GBP 249 (USD364). Bad product and an extorsion to repair it. Don´t ever buy this new Iphone 6 Plus as too fragile and extremelly expensive to repair (not to mention it bends and poor battery life)!

I agree. NEVER trust Apple.

I'll nevr buy another product from them and will inform my friends an relatives to follow suit. My Iphone 6 Plus was a disaster, Apple lied to me, and 15 days after reading that Apple admitted to placing defective batteries in phones of this model I requested reimbursement.

Apple told me that it had been more than 14 days since the purchase so it would not provide any refund!!! Absolute corruption and fraud.

Apple...Rotten to the core

I purchased an Iphone5 when they first came out. It has tech issues and was replaced NINE times. Apple gave me a new Iphone 5s brand new in a retail box in Dec. Had issues with the new phone so called tech support. The guy said to restore as a new phone don't do an Icloud backup and see if it helps. Well it did not so I try reaching out to him. After a month of leaving voice mails with no return phone call I decide to call and get another tech support person. They send me a phone, but it's refurbed. Once again, its dead out of the box, takes two days to even get it to set up. This is my 11th phone Im on and it's defective. Apple keeps giving me the run around and won't replace it with a new device, even though the new device they sent was dead and now the refurb is dead. I even have Apple Care extended warranty. As far as Im concerned I will NEVER buy another Apple product as long as I am breathing. Samsung has great devices and the new Galaxy S6 is killer. Bye Bye Apple. Beware....BOYCOTT APPLE

Apple Does Not Respond to Consumer Issues and Faulty Hardware or Software

The Apple discussion forum is a joke. Just look at the millions of people who have expressed problems with Apple hardware and Apple software. Each discussion group contains thousands of people stating that they have the 'same problem' and yet there is almost NEVER a solution found and never a solution proffered by Apple. Now that Apple is just 'another' computer company they will fail massively solely because of their arrogant stance and total lack of care for their current and future X-customers. They do no listen to their customers and they seem to have forgotten that it's their X-customers who will make them become yet another failed tech firm. It's time to dump Apple and let them fail because of their own arrogance and ineptitude.

Unauthorized charge on my ITunes account was caught by me on my credit card. Apple was very rude act like I did something wrong. They did refund the the charge. Then they closed my my account with them. I have no way to use what I have purchased. No way to update my software. Spent hour on hold, only to be told read the contract. So I guess I did not allow some company to make false charges I must be punished. Afterresearching complaints about Apple, I have learned this is a common problem with iTunes accounts. So a false 42.99 charge to my account basically disables my two Mac's, two cell phones and three iPads. I will never buy a product from Apple again if this is how they deal with customers..

Extremely poor battery life with the new iOS 8 upgrade for iPad

I'm finding the latest iOS 8 update a really poor upgrade.  To make way for new features that I probably won't use much, my battery life has been decimated by it on my iPad.  I've followed as many tips as I could on the subject such as enabling auto-brightness, switching off apps from running in the background, having WiFi enabled, etc, but this hasn't helped very much to be honest.  Has anyone else out there had similar issues and come up with a useful solution?  My feeling is that Apple is trying encourage us to upgrade hardware too to be able to use their devices as they once used them, with this more draining software.  I would get about 60% battery life from my iPad now, so it becomes a lot less useful when I'm out and about, which is what the iPad is all about for me, ie not having to plug it in all the time or cart around a power cord for it.  It means that I use my iPad 40% less now unless I'm near a power point and have my power cord handy.  I'm guessing you get more battery life out of Samsung and Windows tablets.  Can someone tell me more on this if they know more please?
