The quality of the Apple iPhone screens are probably the worst screens on the market. It doesn’t matter if you have a case or a screen protector.
They crack so easily, it’s ridiculous, which blows my mind considering it is a phone that is almost $1000, close to the cost of my laptop. BUT That is why I went above and beyond and paid for the extra AppleCare+ for my son.
I called Apple support almost two weeks ago and I still do not have the box to send it in for repair, yet they have already put a $220 hold on my credit card. And they are charging me for shipping. During a time like this when money is tight and also your phone is the only means of communicating with friends and family it is maddening that Apple doesn't have better support.
Especially when they boast that with AppleCare+ you get an added special service. That is BS.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy Apple.
Preferred solution: Replacement.
Apple Pros: Ease of use, Technology.
Apple Cons: Customer service, Cost vs value, Applecare coverage not worth it.
