My iPhone's screen recently got glitchy then finally the phone failed to switch on. I took it to the apple store and I was told the phone is "brain dead", there was nothing they could do to fix it and I needed to buy a new phone or buy a second-hand replacement.

I got this checked by a third party and it turns out all my phone needed was a new screen and battery. the phone is fine now.

Why is apple hell-bent on scamming its customers?

I have been a pretty loyal and long-time customer of apples and now I will never use their products again.

Aside from the fact they tried scamming me out of more money, I would have had to throw away the phone and last time I checked it isn't biodegradable. this is wildly unacceptable and morally indefensible in my opinion!
