Hello Apple I am Edward Myers I own 8 apple devices 4 Iphones 2 Ipads 1 Ipod and 1 Macbook My apple id was corrupted after updating one of my iphones to ios 12.2 resulting in loss of apps on all devices and when i tried to reset password it gave me error i had to call apple and apple was not helpful at all at fixing they told me to get a new apple id so i tried to make one but it said my email was in use so i contacted apple and they told me to make a new email so i made a new email and made a apple id but now i have loss all the apps including a app that costs over 300 dollars all due to ios 12.2 update

So two companies in a different country quoted you similiar pricing and you found someone who did it cheaper; I fail to see how this is Apple's fault. Maybe complain to the other service centers who are individually owned by other people instead of writing garbage here.

Apple Disabling My Phone after missed Passcode Submission

I change the passcode on my Apple Iphone periodically. Last evening, I changed the passcode (wrote it down in my tablet) and ended up being locked out of my phone because it did not recognize the new code.. After trying six times to access the phone it was completely "disabled". I immediately called Apple support and they refused to assist. I went to the Apple store this morning and they would not assist either. Their only option is to completely wipe out all of my data including my pictures/videos taken of my family over the last 4 years. This was devastating!! I began to research Apple's ability to lock me out of a phone that I OWN and found thousands of complaints if not millions over the last 5 years. They claim that it is for "security" reasons but I have a right to get my data back. This is a civil rights issue for anyone that owns an Apple product. They made it very clear that my data is still residing in the phone but they have a firewall set up to totally shut it down if customers forget a passcode. Banks have alternatives when passwords are forgotten why shouldn't Apple? Since I own the phone it should be my civil right to have the disabling device removed immediately. I am not comfortable with being forced to ERASE four years of wonderful memories with family and friends because of Apple's burdensome security measure. I will not stop my fight until I get my access back to data that I own. Finally, Apple does not provide any prior notification that your phone will be disabled forever. Apple customers confronted with the same dilemma have absolutely no recourse.

Today I turned on my Ipod which I had not used in months and found that I am back in the year 1969. At least that is what the calendar on my Ipod tells me. All of my photos also have disappeared. I open up the Itune software and can't even get to the main page to tell it what I want to add to my Ipod from my library. All I want is to get answers from Apple as to what is going on but I know if I call them they want to charge me. I decided to find another way for their support possibly an email address? Never found that but found an online chat. Should be free, right? No, they want to charge me $19 to answer my question. At the very least they should provide email support so a person can ask a question. But no, they are a money grabbing corporation. You spend plenty to buy their products but just want even more from you. I now have an Ipod which is defective is all that I can figure out. You would think that a company of this magnitude would be there when you needed them. I am done with this company. There are other MP3 players that I can buy. I had been considering getting a new computer but now I will NOT buy another Apple product. The funny thing is last night I went with my friend to the Apple store as she was looking into a new phone. I would NEVER buy one of those and even told the sales clerk that you couln't pay to to use one of them. I guess now I will have to buy another brand of MP3 player and got to do it now. Doctor said that I need to lie flat in bed for serveral days after my surgery next week and I should have an MP3 player so I have something to listen to. That was the main reason I decided to find my Ipod and get it updated, etc so I would have it to use. I just hope that Apple has the same problem and they revert back to 1969. See how that technology works out for them (Were they even in business then?) I learned long ago not to ever buy products that are not made in USA with free technical support from someone who is a US citizen. Apparently Apple is not that company and never will be. It is just too bad they have this type of attitude towards their customers.

Unfortunately you will not be buying any electronic devices ever again. I don't think any of them are made in the US and certainly not with free technical support.

I am no fan of Apple, I think their products are just OK but their prices are WAYYYY too high but no one else makes products here either.

:zzz I googled "wrong date on ipod" and found a solution in less than 5 seconds. In the time it took you to write this you could have done the same. Some effort must be made on the part of the user and $19.00 is really cheap price to help someone who is too lazy to google.

Apple IOS Updates Take Away Features

When will Apple Computer put back the features that their IOS updates have taken away??!! As of IOS 5.1, users have lost the ability to see chapter and audio titles in their videos. Also, music videos can no longer be grouped by artist, which means you have to scroll and scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the video you want. Before, your music videos where grouped under an artist when you had 3 or more videos from that artist, so you could easily skip over that artist or select the artist to reveal the videos underneath - it was very elegant. A big reason that people buy Apple products is that they're one of the few companies that do the software as well as the hardware, and they used to do both superbly. Now they rush to add features that are geared toward making the company more revenue, like adding "Store" buttons to make it easier for users to purchase items from iTunes right from their device. But in the process of adding these "improvements", they carelessly take away the core features of what made IOS great. They even crippled their new iPAD 3 by not allowing users to display song lyrics!! It wouldn't be so bad if Apple was responsive to feedback and fixed the problems that users bring to their attention. Unfortunately, they've become arrogant and don't care what people tell them. I've called their technical support, left feedback on their feedback website, and even wrote an email to their CEO, Tim Cook, and I still haven't got through to them.
