I dropped my phone in clean water. It was only in the water for a few seconds.

I dried the phone out for a week. When I went to turn it on, but it wouldnt. I made an appointment and drove an hour to the Tigard, Oregon apple dealer. I waited for an hour even though I had an appointment.

When I did finally see someone, they would not look at the phone and immediately said that Iphones cant be repaired. I said that I didnt think that was correct. He insisted that it was true. He then tried to hustle me to buy a new phone instead.

I said that I would at least like to try to repair my phone. And he again said no, that they couldnt be repaired. I left and immediately went to another place that was not an Apple dealer. They looked at the phone and tried to replace the battery.

The phone immediately came on.

The battery cost me only $26.00, Apple tried to hustle me into buying a new phone instead of looking at the one I had. Disgusting business tactics.
