Sold me defective product and kept giving the runaround

I have had issues with my Macbook Pro M1 (1TB, 16GB) since the first day I have received it around December 24th, 2020 after spending $2000 on this new machine. Issues: 1. One port does not function properly and keeps disconnecting from hard drives. 2. Battery gives me 3-4 hours. It fell from 99% battery health to 94% after the last factory around June 15th, 2021. (Now 91%) This was a brand new Macbook Pro, therefore, I should not have had such issues. It has been 6-7 months, I have been on the phone with Apple over 14 times and have conducted 7-8 factory resets on this system. Further, I have dropped this system off to the Apple store three times, once for 3 weeks, then 1 week, and then for about a day. I was told that I should not have this issue again, yet it re-occurs. I would like to have a call from Apple HQ to speak to an executive. I should not have to be without my computer that is used for work for over 4 weeks, then again for 2 weeks for a repair that should have taken place and then again for a day. Now I am expected to send this in for 2 more weeks. This is a defective unit that was confirmed by an Apple employee at Apple Mall of Georgia on June 26, 2021. I had requested a report copy from her in person and over the phone when I received a call from a company employee, both denied this stating company policy does not allow me to have a copy of a diagnostic report for my own computer.

I would like them to exchange this system for a brand new one without any issues and begin the warranty from day one. I do not know what issues other units maybe having. Possibly some credit on my account for the wasted time.

Need to change autopay information I never set up and autopay and I won't my money back on my card you all have been stealing my money I did a one time payment I did not give permission to autopay nothing with your company I only bought more storage space one time and now for the last 3 months,your company

Tried to buy a phone for my girlfriend online due to covid...2 good credit cards rejected even though cc companies said I had over 35,000 in credit available on each card.....finally used my Amazon card and made purchase. After delivery,endless registrations and info gathering by apple....unable to download free apps without giving my life story.trying to get a live person to help is impossible. I will never buy another apple product in my life.

It seems like you have to jump thru 50 hoops to unsubscribe from appletv. Now they want me to download itunes to cancel it. I didnt need itunes to use it. Wth?

Apple ID control issues you should know about

So this issue that I am sharing with you all started because I noticed some unrelated charges on my bank statement and I started to research the source and the dates that they were occurring. When I realized they were charges related to apple I reached out to them first by getting online and waited with no reply then I sent an email still with no reply. I continued to monitor my bank account to see if the charges were still occurring and because they were, I decided to put an immediate stop to it by calling my bank to find out what my options would be. I then filed a claim with my bank going back a few years after I reviewed my bank statements. Little did I know that this would prompt Apple to shut down my Apple ID, disabling all access to downloading any Apps or other programs associated with Apple. After I contacted Apple inquiring about my App Store notification stating that my account has been disabled I was told that I should always notify Apple first with any claim and of course I stated that I had reached out to Apple with no reply, so I took the next step of notifying my bank. There was no response to this statement only a reverberation telling me that my account can be disabled permanently if I continue to make more claims and if I dont go to Apple directly because it makes it look like Apple is charging me erroneously, which they were of course. So my response was What Options Do I Have? Of course I meant if I dont use Apple then there must be another company that I can reach out to for similar services without Apple tying my hands or reprimanding me for making a claim. So basically Apple thinks you make them look bad if you make a claim with your bank even though they dont respond in a timely manner and its your money that is being taken from your bank account. That is no concern if theirs. Their concern is that you are making them look bad and they will retaliate by shutting down your Apple ID essentially disabling all access to Apps and programs on your iPhone so that they hold you hostage and dependent on them. A company that monopolizes control over someone is not a company I want to associate with. I like options as I believe everyone should be entitled to options in this American Democratic world we live in so just know before you sign up. I am investigating my options now because the best thing I can do for myself is not use them anymore since they only value me based on the money they can take from me not as a continued user and supporter of their phone and services.

User's recommendation: Do your homework to find out if Ape is your only option. Know that if you make a claim against them they will disable your account down.

Repair? What Repair?

My Apple phone needed a new battery. Called Apple. Scheduled an appointment to get it done at Best Buy's Geek Squad. That was 1 of 3 choices. It was the closest repair center. No idea how long it will take. Apple can't tell me. I get to Best Buy to find out it will take about 1 hr. and 40 minutes. Silly me. I thought it would be a simple take one out and put one in situation. It was not. I was not prepared to leave my phone. Tech got rude about it. I left. Found out a week later he didn't even have the part because he called to tell me it was in. I Came home and called Apple again. Decided to opt for sending it to directly to Apple for repair. They sent a box and away it went. I got it back a few days later in worse shape than it was. No new battery. Now I have a battery that won't charge at all. So much for repairing my phone. I called Apple a third time. This time I had no choice but to go to the Apple Store. I and the Apple customer service folks tried to get through to the store to make sure they had the part. After 2 days of trying we gave up. I left my name and number for a call back and made the appointment anyway. Luckily my experience at the Apple store was a good one. Third times the charm. Bottom line... Do better Apple. I wasted a ton of time and I was charged a fee to send my phone back and forth. A little communication and an estimated time needed would have saved me and your customer service folks a bunch of time and aggravation. In this age of electronics poor communication within a company is just ridiculous. Of all companies I really expected better from you.

Be wary when upgrading to Big Sur. 1) Notifications no longer let you set a snooze time. FEATURES should not disappear without NOTICE. 2) I tried to backup my iphone to my mac and now have 2x the contacts and photos.

Refund of my Gift Card

I wanted to upgrade my order however apple support representative told me to cancel it and order again. As i cancelled my order the GIFT card which i used till now never came back. I called apple customer care multiple times and i got same reply please wait for next 24 hours. I have multiple case numbers with lame excuses every time., Web Order number - W92037**** Case Number # 578****, 579****, 101268****21 i spend more than 4 hours every day with apple support to get my gift card amount refund but no luck. finally i came to know might be this forum can help me out to get my money back. Its more than 15 days now i am waiting for my refund. Every time customer care says you have to wait, when i asked to connect me with Supervisor they say in apple we do not have escalation hierarchy. Please help me to get me my refund and i do not have more time and courage to call apple customer support again.

Till now call from supervisor or anyone. Customer's are rubbish after taking money from them for APPLE.

I went to the store to pick up a product and my sister was facing problem with her iphone 11 i told the man that please have a check and he was not ready to listen he was being very rude with me n my sister.. We can afford to buy an apple product that means customer service should also be good i was not expecting this kind of service from the apple team.... Horrible customer service and business practices!

I’m very disappointed and upset! ! I was supposed to have a laptop by September 16 that I needed for school and my affirm payment did not go through after it showed in process for over a week with a delivery date of Sept 14-16. I called Apple.com and after staying on the phone for hours and getting transferred several times I was finally informed you guys would not let me you use two separate payments which is ridiculous! I only owed $166 more, which I would have paid by debit because my affirm loan amount was only $800. Then the representative stated that I could pay the remaining balance with one card and had six days to do so but when I went to do that she had instead she freaking canceled the orders. I’m furious! And then you charged me $176 for Apple AirPods that were supposed to be free. The rep said I could send back the AirPods but I sold them for a little of nothing because I already had a pair. So now I’m out that $176 that they charged to affirm. You cleared payment for those but wouldn’t clear my payment for the MacBook Air!! Horrible service!!!! I’m totally screwed because of this, since I needed the laptop by September 16, which was when it was promised! I have lost money, time, and now I’m screwed because I have no laptop!! Thanks Apple!!

i toold the tech i in take care of my elderly mom, didnt care! poor quality products andd service, 1 phone over priced. screen cracks!

should not need $ 15.00 a month insurance for a 1100.00 phone. it should work!
