Apple in Vancouver, Washington - Battery Replacement in Laptop

Turns out you can't get laptop batteries replaced without sending it away. I can't do that as it's my primary work machine. The people at the Apple store said that they'd call me and see if they could set it up, but I'm still waiting on a call back from their service department to see if we can arrange it.

Apple in Spokane, Washington - Not Just a Bad App, It's a Crime! Customer Assault!

In my over 31 years with Macs, iTunes 12 is worse than all my other (mostly positive) Apple and Mac experiences combined, including the exasperating iPod, and one of the worst of my life. Formerly I easily transferred audiobooks both from Overdrive or ripped from CD to my iPhone 5s and they played ALL THE WAY THROUGH, IN ORDER, PERFECTLY. As soon as I "upgraded," it took me eleven days of pain, heartache, struggle, outrage, indignation, and frustration to load ONE set of books onto the phone! As for anything ripped from CD, it merely PRETENDS to load them but they never reach the phone. On the one that would, finally, play, first every track repeated, necessitating hitting the screen a dozen times an hour. Once that was fixed, individual tracks play in order, but instead of progressing to the next section of the book set, each section skips to a different part of a different book so must be reset every hour or so, when the old version played PERFECTLY for hours at a time! Over the past two weeks I have lost time, sleep, peace of mind, suffered physical pain and mental and emotional distress, not to mention lost money as even after contacting support I had to enlist a professional who is still working on this and no end in sight. Formerly I was able to put as many books on my phone as I liked, now I have ONE set and nothing has played properly YET--as if I didn't have other things to do in all this time. I'M MAD AS ***, AND I WANT ANSWERS! This is not an upgrade, it's a ***, a hijacking, one step below a virus, practically an act of cyber terror! It seems deliberately designed as an attack on customers. I can envision a disgruntled employee doing such a thing to damage Apple, but WHY does the company not FIX it? WHY do they seem insistent on shooting themselves and everyone else in the foot? If consumer complaints would have been addressed when they started well over a year ago, I would have been spared all this. I asked the professional if I could just downgrade to the version that worked, but he advised against it. This gives me a bad feeling about Apple I previously never had. They do not have their own nor customers' best interests at heart. Thank you for providing this platform. I did fill out a Feedback form which of course they don't acknowledge.

Apple in Seattle, Washington - Very rude customer service for app store case id: 994615571

Hey Apple, I am stunned by the type of customer service i was given by one of your staff . She was exceptionally rude and felt as if she was racially discriminating me based on my accent or whatever it is . I had never got this type of response from any Apple CS and they had always been nice . I tried contacting CS via my phone chat and it got disconnected twice due to network issue and both times CS were nice to resolve my issue in polite manner but since it got disconnected it was never complete . I then called up CS on phone and this lady was exceptionally rude . I had mentioned my son had accidentally made a purchase again via game which he didn't realize he was doing as he is only 8 yrs . I wanted to tell her that the game messages are not clear so it happened accidentally as my son is very aware that he shouldn't make any purchases . But she took a very different rude stand on me. She could have conveyed same message in a polite manner without offending me as I was struggling to find ways to control my kids phone . I was forced to enter visa details as some apps didn't let me download even when it was free . its true but she said its not possible and argued with me . I want you to take strict action against her and give her proper training on how she needs to deal with customer . I am very very disappointed that apple have such staff . In the entire conversation i was being very polite so she had no reason to show me down or be rude to me . I am upset because i had so many good exp and now this one just ruins it all. regards varsha

I am so sick of the ads redirecting to the App Store, notices taking my screen, total commercial BS, I am about to throw my OS7 POS in the lake! Certainly the interface button could at least have a block choice. (Apple didn't think of that? Really?). AHs Windows next.

Just bought new iMac and having Airport Express problems. Called the " support number". LONG hold. Person hung up. Second call. Long Wait. person then" put me on hold!. Tim Cook - LESS PROFITS , MORE SUPPORT please. Sickening level of profits, and no linear increase in support quality to match revenue and profit quality. FOCUS ON CUSTOMER . Mr Cook. Very sad - have a house full of Apple products and your support is not the quality it should be . You should be ashamed, Mr Cook. As a loyal long time customer, I think we deserve far better than a 20 minute wait for no problem resolution.

Apple Ipod Nano

The Ipod Nano (2007 version) breaks easily under certain hydrological mishaps such as spillage while driving up mountainous regions in Nissan Pathfinder; hiking through tropical rainforests, plying around water features in parks around the country and throughout my travels... It seems to constantly go berserk... mostly downloaded podcasts not wanting to synchronize and play with itunes well. also, there are as well many as some interface preferences. It would be better if the thing would just flip out everytime i plug it into any thing or do anything that would involve me listening to an AudioBook.... ah! I just want this thing to charge.

Apple in Seattle, Washington - I4 proximity sensor is total ***.

I purchased the i4 phone maybe a couple months after the release. I was even aware of the reception problems which I found to be no problem at all. Here is what I dont understand: The proximity sensor on the phone is 1000 times more of a problem then the antenna problem. Seriously, I am on my sencond phone and am basically unable to use it. For those of you who dont know about this, when you bring the phone to your face the screen should go black. It does not. So your face will hang up calls, hold calls and mute calls. My face touched the screen, pulled up my contacts choose a contact and then dialed a number all before I knew i had hung up the call. PISSED PISSED PISSED. All I keep hearing from apple is that there is a software fix on the way. I seriously do not know how this problem has not received more media attention...way bigger problem then the antenna probelem...did I mention that before? Do not buy this phone until you hear that this problem has been fixed. You should also know that I had the second generation iphone and could not have been a bigger fan. Which is to say that there waqs no problem with the sensor on the other iphones. If you must buy an iphone buy the 3Gs. Let me put this into further perspective....I would rather go back to a brick phone then have to deal with the *** i am dealing with on this new Apple i4 phone.

I totally agree. The proximity sensor problem is 1000x greater than the receiption problem. I am bringing my i4 back to ATT.

Only your carrier can unlock your phone if it's locked to their service. If you didn't know that by now then it's your own fault.
